About Your Teacher

A piano teacher who likes to delight her students with the joy of making music and learning the piano, Nadia Banna is a graduate of New York University, with a summa cum laude degree in classical music performance. She has collected many diverse experiences in teaching piano and music to children and adults of all ages, in New York City and now in Zürich. She is particularly adept at making piano lessons deeply fun and educational, as well as bringing her young students good technique and body posture at the piano, to build a strong foundation for years of healthy playing.

The Pedagogy

Piano pedagogy is varied and there are many options available. The best one? The one that brings your child closer to expressing their musical sense, that is paced just right for their learning style, and that brings them joy and a deep knowledge about everything piano, music and the art of making music. Nadia uses an eclectic mix of the best of piano pedagogy, tailored individually to your child and their learning style! She is continually developing her knowledge and techniques in order to offer her students the most effective strategies for joyful learning.
